For over sixty years, Little Moose Lodge has been the place for families and groups to spend quality time together. At our Ontario resort there are many outdoor activities available, besides the excellent fishing, guests can enjoy boating, swimming and hiking to name just a few.
We have a small sandy beach that gently slopes into our own swimming area. It’s perfect to spend a few hours swimming there and cool off on those hot summer days. If you prefer a little more action, we also have a water slide and floating dock within the swimming area.
For those wishing to enjoy the water without taking a dip, we have a pedal boat and canoe available for you. Take a spin, and tour our picturesque shoreline.
For those guests that are really adventurous, cliff jumping might do it for you! Clearwater Lake has a 6’ rock lodge, perfect for beginners to test out the waters at the swimming hole.
Once acquainted with that, those seeking an adrenaline rush can head to the 40’ cliff located a little ways down the lake, and test their bravado there. Truly, it’s the ultimate way to cool off and experience a thrill.
A Canadian fishing trip is not complete, until you enjoy a traditional walleye shore lunch. There are many convenient locations on all of the lakes where groups can set up for the lunch. Spend the morning fishing, than reap the rewards of your efforts by enjoying the days catch in Canada’s pristine wilderness. Shore lunch kits complete with cookware, utensils, potatoes, and all the fixins are available, you just need to catch the fish!
After a day of fishing, boating, swimming, or what have you, what better way to relax then under a blanket of stars at a campfire on the shoreline? If you ask us we would say there isn’t one! Grab a chair, enjoy the warmth of the fire, and recapture the stories of the day with your friends and family.
