Nestled beneath majestic white pines, cedar and balsam, Little Moose Lodge is a retreat from the pressures of everyday life.
The main lodge is the heart and soul of Little Moose. The hand-hewn log lodge was built in the 1940’s; it has a unique octagon floor design. When you first walk into the lodge, you instantly realize you are at an authentic Ontario fishing lodge. Besides the typical fish and deer mounts found in all lodges, our lodge has many antique tools and treasures dating back to the early 1900’s that all of our guests can enjoy looking at.

Our lodge has a lounge area that is equipped with satellite TV, VCR and DVD with free video selection. For more entertainment there is also a pool table, dart board, board games and puzzles, or enjoy a game of cards at one of the tables. Or, relax while reading from our library of books about the wildlife and history of the area. For those chilly evenings, enjoy the warmth of the lodge’s fireplace while discussing the next day’s adventure.

Allow us to do your cooking from the lodge’s fully equipped commercial kitchen. The lodge has a dining area for our guests on meal plans. We serve breakfast and evening meals in the lodge, for lunch we send out lunch in a cooler or shore lunch fixin’s. Breakfast is normally between 6:30 and 9:00 AM and the evening meal is usually between 5:00 and 6:00 PM; therefore providing you enough time after dinner to take advantage of the excellent evening walleye fishing on Clearwater Lake.
Served in our spacious and historic hand hewn log lodge, meals at Little Moose are truly something special. We serve hearty all you can eat meals such as spaghetti and meat sauce; lasagna; chicken breasts with mushroom sauce and rice; ham and scalloped potatoes; turkey or roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy; deep fried walleye; and barbequed pork chops or steak with camp potatoes that will tempt and satisfy anyone’s taste buds!

We carry a small selection of fishing tackle and souvenirs such as tee shirts and hats. Bagged ice, fishing and hunting licenses are also available at the lodge. We provide our guests with free lake maps and will go over the maps with you pointing out a few reefs you need to be aware of as well as fishing hotspots for whatever species you are after.
